serial #42490 5.56 mm NATO, 26" target barrel with an excellent bore. The DPMS barrel is stainless steel and in-the-white. The unknown make flattop upper and PWA lower receiver retains 97% original phosphate finish with wear from handling and storage. There are two or three light scratches on the right side of the lower receiver. The buttstock is a target type, by an unknown maker with an adjustable buttpad and an adjustable cheekpiece but is not telescopic. The single piece, free-floating aluminum handguard is an oversized target style with a black phosphate finish with adjustable sling stop. The pistolgrip is a standard AR style. The stock, forend and pistolgrip rate excellent with minor wear. The adjustable rear target peep sight is by Zelenak reported to give sub-moa accuracy. The front sight is an Anschutz type with a hooded aperture and visible fluid level. The bolt carrier assembly is similar to the standard AR style with the exception of an exterior bolt that attaches to the bolt carrier through the ejection port eliminating the need for a charging handle. This space age looking rifle has been built from a standard mil-spec lower receiver with numerous customized features and is in excellent condition overall, includes one (15) round magazine as well as an extended bolt release.
