serial #FW76515, 20 ga., 28" barrels choked a light improved cylinder and a light modified with bright about excellent bores which show a remnant of a light pit or two. The barrels retain about 75-80% original blue which is toning to dark gray, also showing minor oxidation freckling. The frame and the lockplates are primarily a silvery case-hardened patina with the flaked areas showing the underlying gun metal gray mild steel, also with some very minor pinprick pitting. The checkered capped pistol grip American walnut buttstock and splinter style forend rate very good plus to excellent showing only minor flaking and light handling marks. Length of pull to the grooved hard rubber buttplate is 14 1/8" with drops of 1 1/2" and 2 1/2". Lockup is tight with the top lever just slightly right of center. A super little uplander Elsie one needn\''t be afraid to take afield. (34841-6) {C&R}
